Key Responsibilities
- Liaisons with client discipline representatives to establish technical direction where not provided by codes & standards.
- Weight control monitoring, management & assessment
- Concrete foundation design
- Structural Integrity Management
- Forward Inspection Plans – RBI
- Structural Risk Based Assessment – RBA
- Fatigue Analysis
- Hang off Modules, Deck extensions & Underdeck platforms
- Assessment of Primary, Secondary Steelwork including strengthening
- Anomaly Assessment & Management
- Techno economical Studies – Material & labour cost Estimates
- Recommends the most economical solutions and works with other disciplines
- Liaisons with other disciplines on technical issues and engineering matters.
- Coordinates and prepares input to Essential Documents, as defined by the client/ contract.
- Reviews incoming RFIs and expedite responses.
- Reviews incoming submittals and expedite responses.
- Participates in contractor meetings to provide technical guidance.
- Supports issue of design bulletins by communicating installed conditions and recommending appropriate solutions based on field conditions.
- Walks down field installations with site representatives to verify proper installations.
- Identifies and logs quality deviations and sign off when corrective actions are completed.
