Key Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates the project engineering works to maximise the effectiveness of project delivery to time, budget and quality objectives.
- Monitors, reviews and approves key documentation to support timely procurement of materials and construction, installation and completion.
- Liaises with Client and their Contractors.
- Ensures assigned work is managed and delivered to Client’s technical satisfaction.
- Ensures that key Client relationships are maintained at all levels within the project.
- Creates and sustains a good team spirit within the Energia project team and Client.
- Interfaces with Client and the Contractor for formal and informal reviews on technical matters with respect to engineering work.
- Monitors and reviews design documentation originated by the Contractor.
- Liaises directly with Client and the Contractor for review / approval of critical drawings and documents.
- Reviews and monitors the Contractor’s and/or their Subcontractor’s engineering / design activities.
- Participates in key Client reviews and meetings as required.
- Reviews and monitors the critical engineering and design activities performed by the Contractor.
- Coordinates and resolves filed engineering queries interfacing with construction and completions.
- Participates in monthly progress reviews with Client and the Contractor project progress reports and presentations as required.
- Assists the Project Manager during the development of the project.
- Organises, contributes, and prepares notes for multidiscipline meetings to affect the timely completion of the requisition.
- Controls and forecasts work area activities and deliverables against schedule.
- Contributes and participates to work in an enthusiastic manner, working to the requirements of quality and environmental management systems maintained to ISO standards.
- Acts as technical interface with Clients.
- Good knowledge of Project Controls, P&IDs, Equipment Lists, Line Lists, Tie-in Lists.
